    Multilingual Websites

Creating foreign language versions of your websites can be quite challenging, but our in-house experts perform this, perfectly!

Website Localisation

Although many translation companies offer website localisation services, the fact is that the vast majority subcontract this work to third parties. LS-Localise is one of the very few translation companies which have an in-house team with the skills and experience to localise any website. We have many years of experience in the localisation of all types of websites, into very many languages. Our website localisation service is fast, precise and reliable. The portfolio shows some of our interesting projects.

CMS Websites

CMS Websites

The vast majority of websites are now built using a Content Management System, the most popular are Wordpress, Joomla and Drupal, though there are many more systems available. CMS systems store the content of the website in a database, which is separate from the formatting and structure of the site. This makes the editing and addition of the content relatively straightforward, and also can help by making the translation of the website easier.

LS-Localise offer a full translation and localisation service for CMS based sites. We can build as many language versions as required, and each version can be a full copy of the UK site or just a subset of the English pages.

If your site is dynamic and constantly updated, we offer a service whereby the foreign versions can be updated as often as you like, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or on request. Our system allows us to analyse the updates to the English version and efficiently translate the changes, using human translators - not machines! Take a look at the Websites portfolio.

eCommerce Websites

eCommerce Websites

It is obviously essential for any eCommerce website to be available in the native language of potential customers.

LS-Localise will translate your website into any language, build the foreign language versions and keep these versions fully updated, scanning the English version for updates at agreed intervals and modifying the foreign versions to match.

If this is a service which is of interest to you, do not hesitate to contact us – we guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Flash Websites

Flash Websites

The Adobe Flash system is often used to build visually spectacular websites and microsites, which usually include interactive animations and videos.

Localisation of Flash websites can be a technically difficult process, the construction of the Flash site is usually complex and even the initial analysis for quotation purposes can be challenging.

LS-Localise has undertaken very many Flash microsite localisation projects, some of which can be viewed in the portfolio section. All projects are undertaken by our in-house studio team, working with great skill and precision to produce the foreign language version of any Flash website, making all of the necessary tweaks and adjustments to produce the perfect localised Flash site.

We are perfectly happy to provide the translation service, or alternatively we are equally happy to work with translations provided by our clients.

Dynamic Websites

Dynamic Websites

Dynamic websites usually use server side scripting to provided interactivity and a database to deliver the content for individual pages.

Dynamic websites often allow the searching of records, generating pages on the fly, using a database to store and deliver content.

If your site is dynamic and constantly updated, we offer a service whereby the foreign versions can be updated as often as you like, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or on request. Our system allows us to analyse the updates to the English version and efficiently translate the changes, using human translators – not machines!

Static Websites

Static Websites

A static website is the simplest form of website, in which the site’s content is delivered without the use of server side processing. Static websites are used principally for brochure sites and can include complex graphics, animations and JavaScript driven features.

The main limitation of static websites is that they cannot provide complex user interactivity because they cannot either gather information from the user or serve content which is dependent on user actions.

Large static sites are also time consuming to develop and more difficult to update because changes need to be implemented individually on each page of the site. However, if a business does not require a large website or advanced interactivity, a static site which is developed using XHTML and CSS will provide clean, compact coding and good search engine performance.

The Websites portfolio contains many interesting websites which have been translated and built by the LS-Localise in-house team.
